A Dr. File Finder Favorite -- Journal Bar for Blackbery
by Michael E. Callahan aka Dr. File Finder
Journal Bar is another cool product for the Blackberry line of smartphones. With Journal Bar you have instant access to weather forecasts, not only for the city where you live, but for a total of five cities. You don't just get the weather for today either, but the complete extended forecast if you want it. On top of that, Journal Bar can also bring you a wide variety of news and sports information. You can determine how often the program updates itself and you can also force an update if you like.
Journal Bar is a tool that I had on all of my Windows Mobile smartphones and when I saw it was available for the Blackberry I was ecstatic. It's such a handy tool. I use it a lot when I'm someplace where I have to wait. The doctors office or the dentist for example. It gives me a way to keep up on the latest news if I'm stuck in traffic or waiting for someone.
Journal Bar also helps you keep up on stocks and other financial information. It has a currency converter and brings you the latest information on mutual funds and other currencies. Journal Bar is a winner of the Shareware Industry Awards in the Best PDA Program or Utility category.
Because Journal Bar is automatically updated on my Blackberry I know the information I get is always fresh and hot off the presses. So, if you'd like to get first-rate information on your Blackberry device, this is your solution. CHeck it out. I give it my highest recommendation. In fact, it's not only one of my Picks, but I'm also making it one of my Dr. File Finder Favorites and those are few and far between.
